Why I Write
I write because transforming my thoughts into something concrete gives me a clear view of what I really think. It helps me brainstorm further and evaluate what I’m thinking and makes me question myself, “is this really what I think?”
I write because it feels like an inner drive to express, to form words and make them real. I have a journal I keep, which I look back at sometimes. When reading through it, I feel like I can relive the moments I have written about.
My primary concern when I am writing is not to impress others, but to be content with it myself. I feel like when I write, I hear myself better than anyone else would. I feel like I am listening to myself.
